Thanks, cosmodonk , that's the one and only.

Actually, HAILERS, I asked for the diagram first and then, I figured that you would surely know the nipple questions. So, no, I am not doubting your answers at all but now that I have the diagram maybe I'll double check them

If there are any conflicts B/T the diagram and what I told you..........the diagram is wrong. Of course. I mean, maybe the guy failed crayola in school and couldn't stay b/t the lines etc.

anyone want to make one?

and the tougher to read one with more info:

im tryin to figure if its worth my time to get rid of the rats nest on this s5, but i dont think i can get the vdi or 6 ports workin without it

any suggestions anyone?
i started off with a keg and a few parts, now im tryin to get it workin with as little lines as possible.
1-running vacuum from the lowest port on the tb to a T that goes to the fpr and pressure sensor on the fender.
2-capping off the top 3 ports of the tb, and everything else basically.
3-6 ports, wiring them open unless someone can tell me how to get em workin otherwise
4-vdi, not even connecting that actuater for now
5-the bac and acv or whatever that is on the intake are blacked off

thanks in advance for the the help guys

I think that s4 colored diagram is wrong ... the relief valve line (yellow) should go to the rear nipple above the ACV ... me thinks.

in other words, the yellow and orange lines appear to be crossed as they connect to the nipples above the ACV ... again, me thinks ... HAILERS would know for sure, but as I recall, relief is REAR.

haha

ok so i got it goin, kinda
the car starts, but dies isntantly unless you give it lots of throttle

i adjusted the tps to 1.0v's, adjusted it to 1000ohms, still the same
tried 2 different afm's, both same result

i tried swapping the fuel lines, thinkin maybe the return was up backwards, but it wasnt, still no luck. fuel lines hooked up fuel filter to lower fuel rail, looped up to top one using the rear port, then goes to the return line by the fpr. fpr gets its vacuum source from the lowest port on the tb, along with the pressure sensor

tested the motor and its got 80 psi front and rear, on a cold motor

any idea what could cause this it to start and then die instantly unless you give it tons of throttle? basically it wont idle at all :/

the car has no o2 sensor right now as its open header, but that really wouldnt make a difference would it? i would think it would go into limp mode and at least run.

you could make it run(like me) not really a true fix
adjust/pull the throttle cable enought for it to idle.
i find the idle screw didn't help after the t/b mod+remove ton of stuff.

and no you don't need o2 hook up to run.
i can get my car running without tps and o2 hook up
but it would smoke alots

my car has the same problem as gamble. My buddy told me it was probably a clogged fuel
filter. Before people say, "figure it out yourself", i haven't had a chance, i was going to get one tommorow. What do you think about this solution?
