cold start assist-->use to inject mm oil?

I remember someone else trying this before, but don't remember who it was... SO heres the deal: I got bored the other day and took out my cold start system(it wasn't even hooked up, so i found out) and got to thinking maybe i could fill it with atf, or marvel myst. oil or what have you so that whenever i wanted to do an atf treatment, or was going to park the car for a long time I could just flip a switch(wired to the pump for the cold start assist) and inject bunches of atf in. At some point I remembered that someone else had already tried something similar, but with 2 stroke motor oil. What could I use that would be thick enough not to run through the pump when it wasnt running, would work like atf in the roptor housings, and wouldnt gum up my spark plugs? So far, i'm thinking the marvel mystery oil... Just looking for some input!! Thanks guys and gals,

~Jesse

hmmmmm....

no one remembers?

Well, so far I'm leaning towards the mmo, it seems to leave little residue when burning and will lube everything well... working on putting a check valve or something in so that the intake vacuum doesnt pull the fluid through, the mmo is kinda thin so it seeps a little... Might just mount the tank a good bit lower than the point where the line goes into the intake, let gravity do its thing... Anybody have any ideas/suggestions here?

You don't want to use atf and the like because atf is very harsh on the spark plugs. Even MMO not premixed with fuel will cause some fouling, same with 2-cycle oil. If you do try it, check your plugs and let us know the results.

Found some new stuff i might try instead... Its made by the same company that makes pb blast, called pb TT or something like that. Its made to add to your tranny to clean out the built up gunk, so i'm thinking it might help gummed up apex seals. Also, if you've ever used pb blast, you know how great the stuff is... im just hoping the tranny stuff works as well for its purpose. I'll post the results, and i'll try a couple different solutions int he tank... just need a few more weeks to get my car back up and running. Will post the results when i'm done!
Any more ideas?

Yes i know this thread is old, but i would like to point out to anyone thinking about this that the stuff to put into your tranny prolly isnt designed to burn all that well and might actually gum up the seals and plugs with itself.
