ah....love how everyone references that farnorth page now.
IMHO, koni/gc works best if you revalve the koni's for the spring rates....it'll handle up to 500 lbs/in, but it won't be matched to it. Then again, that's not stopping me when I go koni/gc with 400/275 springs.
BTW, what camber/caster plates work with street springs? I didn't think there were any on the market.

The Flex come stock with 6kg/mm in front and 5kg/mm in the back, I changed the fronts to give a better spread in rates to give a more stable platform for the track, the stock rates should be fine for the street and are probably better for autocross, and with no rear bar and a big front are probably fine for the track.
As far as I can tell the Flex and the Super Drift are the same coilover with different springs 8/6 front/rear. I think the balance on the Super Drifts is probably better, but they're a little on the stiff side for street driving, and you don't even need to go that stiff for heavy track use. My car had very little body roll and gripped well with its 225 race tires last time out on track with the 7/5 rates.
From what I've read the Konis are good to about 400/275 before a revalve is needed.
Even if you could use camber plates on street springs you'd have a very limited range of adjustment before the spring ran into the shock tower.

If you're talking about camber plates, none of those to the best of my knowledge are feasible to use with street springs.
methinks I will try 425/300 instead, see how the slightly stiffer spring rates work.
600 is decent for JIC FLT-A1's, even better if they were A2's

I need info 2
I have an FC that I bought last year and it runs fine but I plan to build it into the future... my first big project is the body kit which I will put on early into 2008 but I wanted to put coilovers in it because I'm eventually going to put some bad *** rims n tires on it... I was looking at the Tein Super Drift but I have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to suspension... I used to have a 99 saturn sc1 lowered 1.7 on springs to match the car with the 18s on it, rode and handled nice for a saturn. Anyways, I plan on building up the new motor when I blow up this one.. I'm contemplating a 20b build up but I don't know how much power I need yet because I don't know which racing I plan to genre into... I plan on bracing the **** outta the car cuz I'm going to do some custom fabbing by cutting off my roof... The super drifts aren't terribly expensive but are they good enough for me? Right now it's my daily driver, but I'm either going to drift or get into windy road courses. I want the coilovers for looks and road performance firstly, but in future avenues I don't want to replace what I have.... Suggestions/info please.......

seriously though, before the community started getting interested in suspension tuning, everyone was reviewing **** based on subjective butt dyno / poor driving experience. i.e. everyone was getting a mixed bag of advice, and nobody really knew what to look for in 'quality' coilovers except a brand name and a price range. the sad thing is everyone went out and wasted a shitload of cash based on that advice, myself included.
