You already have a very good ignition system. Why do you think you need to change it? Your post is pretty useless without more info. The more info you give, the better the answers you'll get.

I've been reading info online, going through modifications others have done, and am exploring options at this point.
Seen a lot of positives for the Jacob's FC1000, and I am considering this option, but curious about if it would do anything positive for the coils to be upgraded as well.

Thats not a replacement, as far as I can tell, but a CDI amplifier.
Your stock stuff is very, very adiquate, and that is something you should mod later down the line, after intake/exhaust/etc
