Coil air box - Need the communities opinion
Like me, most of you guys know that using a drop-in cone air filter with no air box heat soaks the filter and ends up in reduced performance. And for the last 8 years I have been running cold air boxes that I custom make. I also ended up making some for many RX7 owners I know. So I though, with so many people looking for cold air boxes or people with aftermarket drop-in filters loosing power because of heat soaking, I could probably make some for the mass since I already have all the templates right here. But before I get too far, I thought I would ask for the FC3S owner's opinion first, on some aspects.
Before I ask my questions, here is what they look like. I have one laying around right now, brand new. Made with two 1/32 sheets of aluminum riveted together with hi-heat mineral isolation in between to reduce thermotransfer. It would come with both filters (Intake and air pump) and hardware, completely bolt-on. This one made for an NA S5. And for the S5, the filter for the air pump is not a puny breather that restricts air flow, its a motorcycle hi flow cone filter. Seal is performed by a rubber siding between the body of the car and the box. Here is what is looks like.

Of course the tape is there only to hold the foam for installation. Afterward, when all is done, just use spray glue on the tip of the box and permanently fix foam on.
I also made a scoop for fun that bolts right on the cold airbox to get fresh air from the underside. You can not notice it unless you look under the car.

Where it bolts and directs air (Yes, I know, bolts are big, they can be a lot smaller...)

And from under the car:

Yes, its a bit crooked, but it was just a "test" i made an afternoon with aluminum I had lying around. I could easily make one fit perfectly square with the car. And I will most likely make it 1.5" shorter so that it comes flush with the Oil cooler and make the front lip a bit longer for better air redirection.
I can also make them for TIIs. Here is one I made.

I also made a redirecting tube that bolts right up to the body and fixes itself on the passenger side vent in a fiberglass molded piece that attache/sealss to the body for maximum effectiveness. Here's what it looks like from the engine bay:

And from the vent:

Item would be primed, ready for you to paint it the color you want.
Would anybody be interested in any of these? If so, how much you think it would be worth or how much would you people be willing to pay for something like that? Imagine the scoop on the same quality level as the boxes themselves. If the price is right, I could easily make some for you guys. And what design change, if any, would you make to improve it?
Thanks!
Spec.
