clutch wont disengage while car is on

So i was just on vacation for about a month and i come back and start up the seven figuring i was going to have some problems but nope nothing starts right up i let it warm up for a bit and drive most of the day completely fine same thing next day start it up warm up drive for about a half an hour and im going down a long straight away in second and punch it till about 7 grand and shift to third well it doesnt go into third it comes out of second and just sits in neutral ok well lets try putting it in fourth no go, fifth gear? nothing so i coast into a nearby car wash sit for a second while im like what the **** cause there was no noise no smoke no liquids of any sort it just decided to take the day off right there and then so clutch in try to put it in gear not happening pop the hood open the door look under clutch pedal everythings find check master cylinder fluid good hmm more what the **** turn car off clutch goes through the gears like nothing turn car on stuck in neutral im like ok i dont want to hurt it let it sit call a friend who happens to own a garage
He comes and looks at it and is like well either a bushing or something is shot between the stick and the transmission im like i doubt it theres nothing to the clutch it feels like **** he says ok your clutch is shot shut it off put it in first start it and drive around a bit alright makes sense but then he says use the momentum from it being in first to slam it back into second and get it home i didnt want to but i had to so now its home and thats the problem
It'll be ripped apart tommorow and ill end up buying a new clutch kit all together, it could probably use a redoing anyway for it still being on the stock clutch but i was just wondering if anybody had any ideas about anything cause im not a mechanic so if i buy a two hundred dollar clutch kit when all i needed was a twenty dollar part ill be pissed
thanks for any help
Matt

clutch not disengaging fully.
to confirm: all brakes off. wheel chocks by front wheels. jack up rear, start car. shifter in first gear, clutch pedal down. rear wheels move = clutch not fully disengaging

check fork & slave
pedal play
all hydraulics
bleed and flush
etc.

punctuation is your friend. **** was hella hard to read.

wow, the exact same thing happened to me today at about 4. I was retarded. I however just ended up aiming it downhill and starting it in second. Luckily I work at a shop so I just drove there and sure enough the pressure plates had broken and I ordered a new clutch kit for 155 dollars that I am installing tomorrow morning.

Not a big deal for me either since mine need replaced badly, but still very shocking when your car won't shift while cruising down the road. If you need help with your install I can post pictures since I will be in a well lit shop with a lift.

punctuation is your friend, but the run on made it seem more funny to me.
But yeah, I would like to see pics also.

yeah, I know it didn't happen to me and that's why it was funny. I feel bad now, sorry.
And still with the run on. My pathfinder stopped shifting....but my transmission fell off while I was four wheeling.....I hate trucks.
