clutch problem

crusing down the street going 60 in 5th every now and then i will feel a surge in acceleration and the check engine light pops on if i let off the gas a little it goes away and drives fine it does not do it all the time
i have had a new xtd stage 2 clutch put in for stock.
car has 50k original cat delete new spark new trans grease resurfaced flywheel flywheel was not on the car it was gave to me. not sure if its s5 or s4 flywheel would that make it surge in acceleration?

Flywheel wouldn't do that.. Is it an increase in engine speed without an increase in drive speed?

The S4 and S5 flywheels are NOT interchangeable , Make sure you have the right one in there.
