clutch not releasing fully
once again, I seem to have clutch issues.
Clutch engages very close to the floor, and it fails the "creep test", if I hold the clutch to the floor and rev the engine to about 5000RPM, the clutch will engage on it's own, the car will start moving foreward.
I have an ACT 2600 6-puck on a stock flywheel, with the ACT 2600 pressure plate.
I just replaced the clutch master and slave cyl with new ones, which changed NOTHING.
I had a stainless clutch line, which looked like it had possibly internally failed, I swapped it for the stock one, which also changed nothing.
The clutch pedal sits about 1" above the brake at rest and there doesn't appear to be excessive play - but it won't disengage until it's maybe 1/4" off the floor.
Any ideas here? this is the ONLY thing stopping my car from working perfectly right now.

Make sure those hose connections are torqued down tight enough and the seals are there. Check and make sure no fluid is leaking out. I had the same problem a while a back (replaced master, slave, and hose) and I had problems shifting cause it would stick in gear. I'd also recommend bleeding the clutch line.

did u use OEM flywheel or aftermarket light weight flywheel? if u used aftermarket then make sure the pressure plates "ears" arent binding and staying stuck in the flywheel. If the ears are indeed getting stuck u will see rub marks where the ears recess in the flywheel, and u will have to grind out the area in the flywheel where the pressure plates ears are getting stuck making the recess area bigger!

i would also recommend bleeding the system and what valk said it seems like its out of adjustment if its not releasing till it hit the floor. and its not releaseing all the way. If theres air in the system it is compressable so you may not be building enough pressure to release the clutch. Maybe the fork that goes to the throwout bearing is bent? it seems like it may just be a misadjustment what was your old clutch problem?

I think that the step height on my flywheel is machined incorrectly. What's the stock step height?
I put a small shim (like 0.020) between the flywheel and pressure plate and now everything works correctly.
