I appreciate all the info. Why avoid Spec tho?

stages in clutches = lol.

stage 1 = stock.

why would you want a stiff clutch pedal?

You don't want a stiff clutch pedal but when the pressure plate has more clamping pressure it takes more hydraulic pressure to release it. More hydraulic pressure relates to a stiffer pedal unless you change clutch master cylinders.

And yeah, talking about ANYTHING in stages is retarded. Just describe the parts. Ie, organic disk, 6 puck sprung hub, 6 puck solid hub, 4 puck sprung hub, 4 puck solid hub, etc.

I bought the exedy stage 1 clutch (organic disk)...paired with a fidanza flywheel....

It's hell of alot better than stock (but rev matching becomes a little harder on downshifts...because rpms drop faster due to the flywheel)

if I had to do it again (I'd prolly go with ACT or Exedy...it's the same thing in the end right?)

I had a bonez clutch on my FB (I think they have them for fc's)

it was a street/race clutch i guess, 6 puck i think not sure.

it was really grabby, was still breaking in though I enjoyed it very much. Never slipped (and I was pretty new to manual and abused it DAILY)
