clutch ?
Hello, i Have an 1988 rx7 convertable and i had replace the engine and clutch 2,000 miles ago. Everything was great nice firm clutch pedal. last weekend the clutch pedal hits the wall and wont retrack back, so i checked the master cylinder and it was empty and i and added more and bled the snot out of it, still dosnt retrack back the the correct postion, still will stick on the firewall. so i bought a new clutch slave cylinder and installed it and bled the snot out of it, still hits the wall, so i just have one ?" is the clutch master cylinder bad, it still pushes fluid out the petcock valve, but is that enough for it not to work, still pushes fluid, but is it not strong to push clutch?,
oh i cant put it in gear with the clutch pused in gear while running, so i really think it might be a fluid realted problem.

If you replace or rebuild either the slave or the master, you need to replace or rebuild both. I would also replace the flexible line at the same time.
And if there is no fluid in the master, the clutch will fail.
