Question clearing out parking lights

i would really like to do this i want my parking lights clear so i can change the color of bulb all around well n e ways what do i use to clear the plastic up from orange or red to clear mineral spirits? laquer thinner? what ? thanks alot

You can buy the clear lens online.

I won't help you find them because having clears on any RX-7 gives a bad impression of all RX-7s, in my opinion.

Please, don't do this to your car!!!!!! Keep at least that part of your car stock looking.

If you do the clear thing, I will laugh at you, as I outrun you.

Please don't conform, be stock, except for under the hood.

The plastic is dyed prior to the mold so it will never become clear unless you put them in direct sunlight for 50 years or so.

You realy need to get new ones if you want them clear.

The plastic is the color it is molded in. It doesn't have a color layer. It is the color layer.

i think it would look good... i dun like that orange lens anyway.... all red on top and clear on the bottom is an awesome idea....if you ever get your hands on some clear lenses... give me a shout!!! thanx

this guy i knew at one time cleared out his 86-88 tail lights to all clear and never told me how he did it he said it was a secret he used a chemical
