Someone needs to buy a pair, and show us the pics of them on their car. I think the price is $150 with your core, $230 without.

If the frame on the last pic was painted the color of the car, those might not look too bad.

no.. no.. we're going to give you our opinion when you screw up an RX-7. Civics and neons and eclipses all have a bad name because riceboys put that crap on them. We don't want that happening to the RX-7, THAT is why we're saying the stuff we're saying.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE THEM, DON'T BUY THEM!!!!!!

Don't sit there and tell me I'm ruining my car! Guess what? It's my car, I'll do what I want to it. I'm not in this world to make you happy!!!

Jeez, some of you guys take this taillight thing way too seriously. Putting clear lense lights on is not necessarily following some riceboy fad. It’s an attempt to update the look of the car with modern style lights. Look around at new cars and this is a very common feature. Another thing is that clear lenses and “Altezza” taillights are two different things. Personally I think the Toyota Altezza/Lexus IS taillights look fantastic, but I hate all the copies made for other cars. They suit the overall style of the Altezza, but always look like a half-assed job on other cars. While they’re not the sort of thing I’d probably buy, on the right car I think clear lenses could look OK. But it would need to be part of a complete package, not just slapped on a standard car. But the bottom line is if you don’t like them don’t buy them. Feel free to say you don’t like them, but lighten up on the “you’re screwing up the RX-7” attitude.

In this case, I will have to consider you and the person asking for clear tail lights a riceboy. To even think of putting that on a 7.. ugh... makes me .

Ah the ol' riceboy thread. Haven't seen something this good since that guy who wanted to swap the 1.6L honda civic motor in for the beloved rotary. Well how I feel about altezza lights or clear lights ect. is that they are something I wouldn't ever buy for my s4. But hey everybody cant have the same opinion or this would be a very boring world. I say if you would rather have cool lookin lights(which they rarely are) rather than a faster car thats your deal. Im not stopping you. Everybody has their own right of self expression, but if you do want some "cool" lights at least be original. The good thing about "ricers" is that you can always spot someone who wants to race, and in most cases you can jot down another mark for the "go before show side".

Speed is what wins races, not stickers and lights!!

I personally like my S4 lights more than the S5. Those clears kinda look like crap, but I wouldn't mind if there was a piece that replaced the amber on the bottom with clear, but only that one section, not the whole thing. It would give it a bit of a more uniform look.
