Choosing a new intercooler

So, i'm looking at a front mount now, and i don't want to block off the radiator, atm i'm running 15psi (high i know), stock cooler, hi-flow turbo.
Aftermarket radiator.

Normally the temps about 85 degrees, 90 degrees really hard driving.

Basically i want a front mount that would cool sufficiently (not worried about traffic or anything, more open road and light track days) but not increase my water temps to high levels.

I was looking at a 450x300x80 tube and fin cooler, would this be any good or should i go a 600x300x80? I was thinking though less surface area for the cooler would allow some air flow to get around and go to the radiator? or is that not right?

Or should i just go a bar and plate? but then what size?

Can anyone give me a recomendation?

The Greddy FMIC kit seems to work well and is the most desired, however I have seen plenty of people on the forum using a bar and plate replica from ebay. Usually the core size is 24x12x3 (600x300x76) Inlet and outlet of 3" and an end to end lengeth of 32".

Now that being said I was inspired by some of the members who had gone the ebay way and the jobs looked incredible. I went out and bought everything to begin my FMIC project.

Have a look at one of the other members ebay fmic setup:
