checking injector leaks
#2
sorry for the little info, I installed some new primary injectors and i want to check and make sure it doesnt leak. So how would i check? I heard something about wiring in front by firewall to start up your fuel pump to pressurized the fuel lines and injectors.

All you have to do is locate the service coupler on the passenger side strut tower, it will be coming out of the main wiring harness over there and should be yellow in color. Get a jumper wire and jump the connector. then turn the key to the on position. This will cause the fuel pump to run. Then look to see if you have any leaks. Dont forget to remove the jumper wire when you are finished.

exactly... this it it i have done it before, you will hear the fuel pump running...i forget if you have to have the key in the run position or not...read the FSM, it says in there, it has a procedure for injector leak test...make sure you secure the injectors to the rails, use some solid (not braided) speaker wire or something of the sorts, you have to have both rails and injectors off the block and upper intake in order to see if they leak or not...make sure all fuel lines are attached securely because they will spray fuel everywhere if they are not....IM me if u have any other ?'s
