Heres the problem though:
I have an 88 GXL (na). I might be willing to sell it if i can turn around and get an S4 kit... if not im gonna have to try an S5 AFM.
EDIT: i also won a flywheel lock, which i sold to Ice Mark (good to meet you finally, Mark) and a rotor shaped oil cap. lol

I bought an AFM adaptor with a K&N style filter on Ebay for $35. The filter was junk but I got the adaptor I wanted. If NAPA has them, that would probably be the cheaper way to go but you don't have to change AFM's.

i dont know is theres a difference on the diameter of the opening on your intake but i believe the only dff will be that the S4 need a adapter and the S5 you dont and autozone sell AFM adapter because my friend brought one for his S4 not long ago with a K&N filter and it works good

In terms of performance, basically any intake will yield about the same results, but the difference is filtering quality. The HKS filter doesn't filter as well as other units like the K&N and Apexi ones.
