check out these shifter bushings

I am in the market for some bushings and a short shifter. I found these two sets of bushings on ebay. One of the sets has 1 extra bushing and is $5 more expensive. Is it even necessary?

$30 shipped

$35 shipped

i think you can only change one of them anyways. if you attempt to change the upper one, you'll most likely tear the rubber on the metal flange like i did. so if you can get by, only change the lower one. i had to change my upper bushing because....mine was missing.

you will to get two kits, one for the upper and one for the lower, mazda claims you dont have to do this, but thats how they come from the factory and they also claim that you cant order those parts, but they carry them so go figure. the faq on mazdatrix site is great and i think rotary resurection(sp) website has a good write with pics on what to do.

according to mazdatrix, there are two bushings, one on the top (blue) and one on the bottom (white). I think I'll just get it from mazdatrix. It's about the same price anyway.
