Check out my new tires!

They are really soft. Almost like a gummy bear soft so I doubt they will last too long. Long enough for me with my work schedule I won't be able to make many events a year.

Thing is you only do 1 burnout the first run of the night and the rest of the night is just a quick hop before your run.

Here are a couple pics I took today. Just got them in and mounted them today.

Mickey Thompson Drag Radials. Can't wait to try em out!

Yes! Even with your 1000 lbs of Stereo, you should be able to run some nice times

What size are they?

They are the ONLY tire like this they make for a 16" rim. 255/50/16. They were 170.00 each.

I have not put them on yet but heard of a guy with a TII running these on factory rims so they should work just fine. There is a little side bulge but not bad.

I did weigh the car and it came up 2960 with 1/4 tank of gas. I lost alot of weight and added it back with the stereo. I'm guessing now since the weigh in I've only added around 500lbs total from when I had the rear end stripped out. Maybe lost 200lbs with that.

No hassle street race this Sunday at 1:00 so I'll go see how it runs.

Much faster since the retune at Gotham. Probably pushing 450 to the wheels now. Steve seemed to think it will trap 120mph as it sits now so thats would put me into the 11's with a good launch. I'd be happy with a low 12 though.

Damn, those MTs look sick. Post up some timeslips and feedback when you go to the track.

Yeah It'll be fine. Summit says it needs an 8 inch rim. The tire width is 9.7". It's on a 7" rim now. Only 1/2" on each side. Will see Sunday.
