To me, you shouldn't make your car emilate another car. There are many jdm fronts for the Fc that keep its lines and look sweet.

to me its just an update...i could easily put those lights on an FC S5 front and almost look the same....its clean and crisp and updated and a lil more aggressive than stock.....and i think if i did it id be one fo the few out there with it...and to say it doesnt compliment the style of the car...****...look at that GTC kit they built which is basically an FD front bumper chopped to fit an FC which doesnt fit the curves or the blockines if the FC at all, and the Border (corksport) kit looks almost the same as stock....and hell the lights are OE mazda parts..and to be honest the shitty pic i posted doesnt even do the idea justice....only meant for those with imagination

one more thing.....how can it be emulating another car?...Rx-7 emulating Rx7? Spanning the gap is great....i think its a good idea and somewhat pretty original...

I like it.. but I think the angle is gonna be wrong.. kinda depends how the turnsignals were mounted on the FD, but I think you're gonna be blinding other motorists

yeah i will agree it isnt going to be smooth installation right onto the surface...its going to have be abit recessed but not bad at all tho..about being blinding...they arent that bright i dont think....and speaking of blinding other motorist....have you ever wanted to install those halogen driving lamps on the rear of your car just to be able to turn themon those bastards who are highbeaming you from the rear.....i got the idea when my buddy had a cop car with a spotlight he got at an auction...payback is a bitch

I like the idea of putting the Jspec lights on a stock front end. Anyone have a stock bumper for sale?

hey that sounds great.....just as long as it fits the profiel of the car..i didnt really like the GTC one..they put alot of work into it but it needs to be a whole kit.....skirts and all....plus the nose angle just doesnt work...although they tried...i think the idea of putting 99 specs was a damned good one and pretty original...ive never seen them unless it was on the kit itself like the GTC......but anyhow...when i get back to oregon im also going to start making carbon fiber custom hoods and rear tailights...kinda like S5's but with carbon fiber, none of that Altezza ****....anyhow im out....
