chassis stiffness

reccently I got a tanabe lower arm bar and its by far the best value off any modification I have ever done. At first i barely felt it when driving, only pulling in and out of driveways i felt it. Then i noticed my hatch squeaked less and when pushing it the car was more planted and yet less understeery. Then today when I was doing brakes, i jacked up back and started on the front and was amazed by what I saw

with three wheels jacked the 4th wheel was hanging in the air at almost the same hieght as the others!! Almost all the flex has been eliminated!! Pretty freaken cool, also with the car as is in the pics, the doors open and close with no jamming problems like I used to have cause. I have a front and rear strut tower bar and they definately didnt do as much as this one did. Im gonna try making a frame rail reenforcement brace like the ones made for miatas (http://www.flyinmiata.com/Store/images/13-69010.jpg)

Just to let people know that there's a cheaper alternative.

ok.. I knew it had something like on under there but wasn't sure if it was the same.. That said could the current stock brace be replaced by one of these with the same result?

I'd say the stock 'vert brace is probably stiffer, and it's not only a side to side brace, but it braces agaisnt twist as well.

How heavy is the vert brace? I'd like to put one one if it's not too heavy....

I don't think it's a bolt on affair or anything, as there's differences in the chassis between the vert and the coupe. Any of the aftermarket ones will be lighter I'd bet.
