changing a housing gasket
hi guys i'm new to the forums and just recently baught a RX7 and according to the last owner it's gonna need a new gasket in one of the housings cause it's starting to leak coolant into the motor.
i was wondering how hard could that be? i herd i'll have to pull the motor in order to do this, but that don't look all that hard neither. i also herd it's hard to get a gasket set for rotary motors any more.
was wondering if someone here who has already accomlished this task could shoot me a few pointers
thanks, flatz

well thats good news about the gaskets. as for the rebuilding an engine i can do that. so it's not that much different from a regular engine? i don't know....i never worked on a rotary motor before.
so i really have to pull the engine and all?
thanks, flatz

No it is VERY different but you need to keep the same practices when rebuilding: Take your time, observe tolerences, be very clean, follow directions to the letter.
