Changed Clutch, shifter now stiff?

Hey guys,

I did search but am having no luck. I changed the clutch on my 89 tII vert from a 6-puck/billion pound pressure plate to an exedy street clutch/pp combination. I also changed the tranny fluid to mt90, to the right capacity of course, and now the shifter is stiffer than it was before. And when I say stiff, I mean that it takes too much time to shift between gears that I basically miss the rpms and the whole process is un-smooth. It is the stock shifter also. Shifter bushings are perfect and I sucked all the old fluid out of the tower also and replaced with new.

Anyone know what it could be? Should I re-bleed the clutch? Could it be play in the clutch pedel itself? What tests should I do to figure it out?

Your experiences would be much appreciated.

your clutch may not be completely releasing.
