CDI Install

Hey everyone,
I just installed a Crane Hi-6 CDI today and it is working like a charm! throttle response is much better, and the car actually pulls harder on boost ^_^
one thing i am unsure of is that when i check CraneCams website it had a CDI for distributorless Engines. Does it make a difference if I use one that they say are for engines with distributors?

I'll post pics later =) my CF reader is dead ^_^
