I had to get mine at auto zone. I don't know the part numbers and last I heard, the mazda ones are expensive as ****.
My cats were also really clogged. And I had pretty much spent the last of my money on everything else. So I went for the large one that was the "rear" cat and replaced it. 80 bucks for a direct fit. When I did put it on, i noticed that, the other ones were also kinda cloged cause it sucked pushing the exhuast out and lost lots of power. I thought for sure I wasn't going to pass. But, I did. With flying colors even.

This site: http://www.discountconverter.com/Default.htm has several combinations you can try. No, its not the high performance cats. Just basic cats that work and don't cost a fortune.Good to own once a year for the emissions folk while you run you modified exaust system the rest of the year.
Its bolt on also. Avoid the welded on cats.

Well, HAILERS, thats exactly what I am looking for...A bolt on replacement so I can pass emissions, then at least drive the car till I feel like rebuilding it the right way. I will check out that site. And since I am running rich..Or at least thats what the emissions guys say, I might as well run gutted cats the rest of the time..

www.rx7.com sells the bonez Hi-flo cat. A little more spendy, but more free flowing, and should still allow you to pass emissions.
