cat cnverter overheat
Will a CAT converter overheat if the AIR pump is connected directly to the main cat with no ACV if the AFR's are reasonable?
This is assuming that the AP can be just turned off either in boost or above a pre determined RPM (say 3500) or both.

I dunno, but less air => less heat, more air => more heat. Unless you provide excess air. Then the temp will go down. Since the stock setup should be providing the maximum amount of air, I'd assume that anything you do to it will make the cat colder. Cats don't clean as well when they're not hot enough, btw. OTOH I don't understand the FC's air pump setup too well.
