CAS? maybe?

i get spark on L1 and L2 but T1 i get intermittent spark and T2 i get no spark. ive changed out the T coil for a working one and its the same thing. i checked all the wires that hook to the coil and they are all intact... any suggestions?

i pulled the CAS out and spun the gear and i got spark on all the plugs (tested with timing light and pulled the plugs out to see if the really did spark). does anyone know why i wouldnt get spark while everything is connected?

would bad motor grounds cause it?

i would check all the grounds for the coils and ecu grounds....then check the ecu.

The only ground for the trail or lead coils is the mating of the body of the coil assy with the chassis attach studs. No contact equals NO spark at all.

I doubt very very very X 100,0000 that the CAS is bad. If the CAS was bad the car would not start much less the lead coil assy work.

Next time you have no spark on a trail coil sparkplug wire using a timing light...............chunk the timing light into the backyard. Then idle the car and then pull, one at a time, one of the trail sparkplug wires out of the bore of its coil. Only pull it out a 1/8" or less. You should be able to easily see a large blue spark b/t the coil bore and the end of the sparkplug wire. See how that works out for you.

I've seen that before, and it was just due to a poor signal to the timing light. Move the lead around, or try another (better) light.
