Car will not start!
Okay guys. Hes the dilly-o
A friend gave me a turbo2 that he dosent want to deal with anymore. Hes gonna go buy a RX7 from another guy locally.
Anywyas the cars been sitting for 4 years ran before parked now dosent run
When you try and turn it over it sounds like it wants to turn over but dosent want too. Ive replaced so far:
Gas
Battery
Plugs/Wires
Fuses
Also It seems like some guy messed with the nuetral safty switch when you try to turn the car over while its in gear the car will move..dunno..any suggestions would be great.
oh yeah the car is a 87 turbo2. with 150k miles.

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
If that car sat for 4 years, you're LUCKY it's not seized!!!
Remove the upper plug holes and put some ATF in it, as stated above...
Usually helps to build compression...

If you get in the car, and push the clutch in, then try to start the car with the shift lever in any gear, the car should not move. It has nothing to do with the clutch switch but EVERYTHING to do with a worn out clutch.
Remove and replace the clutch disc and pressure plate and try again.
Then again the clutch hydraulics could be shot. Not enough information in this post to tell.

Sorry for not being specific..The car is getting fuel, and spark.
The engine is wanting to turn over, its just not starting.
As for the car moving..when the clutch is NOT depressed and its in gear the car will move.
I even tried the unflood trick dident work. Ill get some ATF and try that tommrow.
Thanks for the help.

You can't start it without the clutch depressed when it's in gear... LMAO
