well the only way i can get my car started is using my pedal and then i cant drop below 1500 rpm or it will die so i screwed in the idle to bump it up so it would idle without me holding the pedal. but now it will start idle will bounce for a bit then it will just die. but if i catch it before it dies by giving it gas it whont die and it will the same thing over again

i agree check the tps and timing and fuel filter that thing is always overlooked sometimes....i have the same problem with mine the idle bounces then it dies but only in the beginning after it warms up, the bouncing is still there but it doesnt die....so try that....

adjust your crank angle sensor and check for vacuum leaks

What precipitated this problem? What were you doing to the engine prior to this problem? If you were working on the air intake, check the AFM connector to make sure it is connected and look for unconnected air hoses or air leaks.

i was putting the whole thing together, ive emptied a can of brake carb cleaner on this engine and only found one leak and fixed it, right now it barley starts and then when it gets hot it doesnt even want to start back up at all. its not the injectors because they are brand new. the only thing i can think of is tps. right now the car will idle forever. but it bounces and i have little hessitation on 3grand but after that ive got full power all the way to red line
