Car Started...But...
OK, so I changed my wiring harness and replaced all grounds and battery cables in my car... Was going to change the spark plugs but Autozone said they were special order, so I just took them out cleaned them, did the unflood procedure... added the atf into the holes... and let the car sit all night... Well I just went to crank the car up this morning and it had compression and turned on first try, although it died instantly... then I tried again and stayed on until I took my foot off the gas and it died after the rpm dropped >1500. I didnt get a chance to try and crank it again because I had to go to my 8:00 class... Anyway, is this sort of thing normal after the car has been sitting for a month and being that the engine was flooded. If not; when I get home, what things should I check out???

Re check all your wiring connections... and look for missing connectors or Vac hoses..
Then start the car and keep it running until it warms up, if it still wont idle, take the trailings out and do a compression check

Take the plugs back out and pull the EGI fuse. Crank for awhile. Put a bout a teaspoon/capful of ATF fluid in both the rear and front rotors. Reinstall the sparkplugs.
I would suggest getting that order at autozone though, atf will foul sparkplugs.
Godluck. When I had my 2nd gen down for 6 months, I added a little bit of MMO fluid prior to putting her away for six months, and then a bit of atf when I went to start it up. Popped right off on the first crank.
Granted, it didn't stay running, had some massive vac leaks.
Of course... if it is istarting, then its not flooded. My guess is you have a vac leak.

I just had the same problem twice. The first time was because I forgot to hook up the AFM, the second time was because I forgot to hook up that large hose that goes from the intake to the BAC. (I felt stoopid both times)
