car runs but dies cruising

well, i just had my car fixed up at a local shop. they fixed my oil leak from the front cover and installed new gasket. also helped installed 5 lug re-conversion and put in my tokico shocks and tein springs.

after they fixed it, the guy told me that my car might have some wire issues.... he mentioned that he was rechecking the plugs on the engine harness. this was done just this past weekend.

anywho, my car ran fine with no leaks... but recently my car has been dying at low idle when cruising on neutral and sometimes at idle stop. i'm thinking my e-shaft isnt getting proper lube and so on... the oil pressure seems healthy and everything else seems all right too.

when it dies i try to crank it over, but nothing. thought it was flooding but i did the unflooding procedure and it still wont work. i try to start the engine again over and over, it seems like it wants to crank over but not enough idk...

i found the best way to force it to turn over properly with an unproper technique was to pump the pedal while its almost up and running. it works, and has been working for last night and today.

my friends say i should get new spark plugs, they think that may be the problem....

well i need help fast! inputs please!

tps checked out, its fine but when i am touching around the area... the idle drops and picks up. but it will keep doing that if i kinda tug on the TPS wire. it drops, and eventually dies.

Clean the connectors with contact cleaner. Swap in a spare if you have one. You may want to check that your dash pot is working right too. If the pot is stuck it will cause the RPM to drop too quickly when driving.

dont know why, but last night.... i was driving it home from work, and i believe it went into a limp mode. the first i've seen, it wouldnt let me rev past 2000RPMS in gears. so i pull my car over and my friend and i are checking out for leaks, and so on. after turning off the car, i hear a clicking noise. it seems like the bac valve, and i take a screw driver and place the tip to the bac valve. and ear to handle, yep... its the bac clicking but why does it do that?

hmm... well.... i noticed a few things after checking aroud on the forums. my dash pot has been eliminated and lastly, the mechanic who fixed my car leak took off the gear inside the front cover that supposely works the OMP. but i have a block off plate for that... now my only question is, is that why my car runs like crap now? or is it because my CAS timing is retarded?

i'm contemplating a lot now... i just want to trash my motor.

also i'm thinking of switching out the TPS... i think the wires are bad or something. if i tug on it, my revs drop.
