Car molding
well, I am getting ready for paint on my 87' NA and I was wondering if it would look better to paint the molding, remove it and not reistall it (just leave a body line, or to fill in the area. Filling will be a pain so I do not really want to go through with that.

the front bummpers have the body line made to them, and on the front and rear fenders and quarters there are holes there that do really stand out, The only way to fix this is to use the trim or fill it with glass. I will take forever to get it all strait. The easiest way to do it is the paintable trim painted the same color as the car. This is the route im going, Im in the painting process.

I'm in the process of shaving all the mouldings, including the front and rear bumpers(i know its a part of the bumper, but i'm a hardhead and wont take no for an answer), and its a bitch, unless theres a reason why you have to do away with the mouldings, ie: custom paint, leave em and paint em! Though the car looks a lot better w/o them
