The smoke was white/grayish.
I just put new plugs and changed the oil in it, but I might get frisky and change the oil again one day this week.
The plugs looked fine the three times i took them out today so I figure they can wait; I have to order them and it takes forever to get new ones.
The engine also smelled like Hell.. or atleast rubber/gas/oil/coolant/younameit for the first five minutes I ran it.
I'm praying something flew up in it and managed to fix my f'd up seals. HAHAHA.
But if you have any clue why it did this but ran... extremely smooth when it finally started up(best since I've owned it atleast); please I'm going crazy over this.

No, I ordered a new fuel filter about a week ago because I was getting take off hesitation every now and then.... takes so long to get parts for this car sometimes.
I should get it tuesday, and I'm off so
I'll update this thread whenever I get on whether it fixes it or not.

Glad the 7 started for you.

My 7 is doing the same exact as yours was. I just didn't want to post a thread. Then a few days after my 7 did this, I saw your thread on my rss feed. I've been watching the thread and gladly have peace of mind that mine will hopefully do the same as yours. Of course I work all the time and am just waiting for a few days off to try to mess with it.

Thanks for posting results and the helpful info.

Well; I still haven't got my fuel filter in
But it started great today and when I got off work as well....
I ran it a bit tonight and it ran... better than before.
No coolant buzzer and not a lot of coolant got shot out the overfill.
I think this was actually a miracle in disguse and my 13b fixed itself.
But I did get a little hesitation whenever I went to pull off from this stop sign.
The engine acted like it wasn't getting any fuel at all.
I've got tmrw off and a promise that my fuel filter will be in; so I figure I'll have some fun and let you all know how it works out.

I'd love to have the injectors; I'm not for sure how paying someone on paypal works without buying something on ebay, etc. So if you give me your acc I'll send you the money right away; I'll just have to wait and have someone show me how.

Yeah; the bubles are from my seals being f'd..... Do you have any bad seals ?
Idk what the liquid is that shoots out but mine did the same thing too. That and a lot of smoke. It has poured down rain here so I've got another day until I can see if my new fuel filter helps it any. I guess my Forza 3 fc will have to do until then. Hopefully TwEak's fuel injectors work better than mine too .

well compression on both rotors came out good so i dont think its an apex seal but would a coolant seal cause this? im new to rotaries but i have been doing my homework pretty much every day so i keep learning more and more. and this was only the second time my car has ever smoked like that but the first time it sropped after i drove a little but this time i didnt have a chance to drive it (flat tire)

Well; I got the new fuel filter in and changed the oil today. It started up with tons of smoke out the exhaust like usual, but it didn't give me any hesitation and seemed to run a bit better. I'll tell you tmrw if it is still flooding bad; if it is I guess the engine is just getting ready to go.

Thought I'd make a quick update on what has happened in the past week.
My car can make it to town and back it still smokes out the exhaust.
I'm going to film and see what you guys think.
I'm sure it will get some lulz.
It sometimes will stop once it warms up.
Also I'm getting 10mpg highway and a bit less in the city.
It is also still flooding bad. I have to crank for 10+ seconds w/ fuel pump off to get it started.
Oh and I filled up my antifreeze the other day drove about 30 miles and my coolant resievor was dark...... so much gas in it.

I took my plugs out last night and cleaned them. Cranked engine over with EGI fuse out then left it sit overnight. Went out today and put plugs back in. Tried to start, nothing. Still doing the same thing. What a hassle these cars can be without having any knowledge of them or anybody to actually help you. lol

Ha; that is good to hear. Let me know if you get any smoke in a few days because I've got a video of what my car has been doing up on youtube.

He's a kid. It's understandable.

I drove the FC today and got no start up smoke. Yours seems to have a idle problem? Mine even starts easy like it use to too. I know I need plugs though.

Also, after I got it running, I drove it around last night to clean the engine out. I didn't drive it ruff and only cruised it around. Then today I got the engine nice and warm for a while then drove it like normal to clean it out. It seems to be back to its normal self.

Well, I've checked tps, bac, and adjusted the idle screw; the bad idle is from my low compression.
But I think I've found a s4 engine to throw in it until I can rebuild the one that is in it.
Anyways; good to hear that yours isn't f'd
