I always had FC (or two/three/four) and always liked FD but never had a chance to get one - this year i had chance to do some work on FD's and more work i have to do on it, less i want to get my own FD.

In ideal world, i would love to have FD - perfect one, which i dont have to touch. However, i did not make it to the ideal world, its more like cheap knockoff actually. That means car breaks and its me who has to fix them. This simple reason let me stay with FC's.

OK - sounds fine by me

Why would a person consider getting a loan for a car they don't really need?

I can't fathom having to pay 1.8 times for a car (unless its absolutely required, bad situation, need a DD type of thing, even then though I'd say buy a f***ing beater) that you just "like" and "want" but don't actually need.

Ill say it again - if you've got the cash in hand, buy the FD (since you want it so much). If not, stick with what you can afford.
