Nah, I got dis:

Something about a fuse, I don't know, why bother? This will ensure the maximum voltage/ohms/power getting to the fuel pump. This has been known to sometimes blow apart fuel systems due to its efficiency, however, so beware.

When you say "start from scratch" are you trying to control the fuel pump by a switch for a race car? What exactly are you trying to bypass and why? What year and model is this?

Use a fuse, otherwise your asking for trouble.

you may also want to use a switch...

or a diagram that fits the application!

anyways, it doesn't need a picture. run an ignition power source wire on to a relay, power the relay to turn on the pump and wire on your power wire into the thick black/white wire near the fuel pump and done. your coils get ignition power when the key is turned on, it would be a good souce to turn on the new fuel pump relay.

1. Your second post makes you sound like an idiot.

2. Sarcasm is hard to detect on forums. Although had your diagram sunk in a bit more I probably would have seen it. Looking back now I can say 'I see what you did there!"
