I heard that this combo allows a TII trans to be bolted into a NA car. Is it true, and if so how do you know.

Yes it will work... you will also need a turbo size clutch/flywheel.

it will work but, i would recommend getting a custom driveshaft from mazdatrix or someone. i think they are like $242.00 us or something. they have replaceable u-joints, and unlike just using the auto d-shaft, which by the way will not go all the way into the tranny, will work perfectly. just call mazdatrix and see if they make a driveshaft with turbo front yoke, and n/a rear u-joint. shoud be no problem.

No. The auto drive shaft will not work. The T2 drive shaft will work if you re-drill the rear flange. Or you have to get a custom drive shaft. Mazdatrix does this like the guy above said.

Hmmm, have you ever redrilled a rear flange? I have dremel and If I work nice and slow I am sure I could do it nice and evenly.

I was just looking at the driveshafts from mazdatrix. They either would have them, or could fab one up for you for a faily decent price. And you'ld be able to change the ujoints after that too...

You can use a N/A flywheel with a turbo tranny. You cannot use a turbo flywheel with a N/A tranny case the turbo flywheel is too big around.

a dremel would take a while. Plug in drill would ease the process

I would take it to a machine shop and have them drill it for you. I would imagine that the driveshaft could be unbalanced if your holes werent evenly spaced out or if some were bigger than others.

I would use the auto driveshaft as a temp. solution until you have enough money for a good custom one.

I think that If I am carefull enough I could drill out the holes until they are just big enough to reach on all four corners, that should keep it balanced enough.
