Can the FC fit 4 tires in the trunk?

Hey...Cut it out!

With some careful packing, I fit a set of FD wheels with stock size tires in the back of my FC. Two sitting in a V shape behind the seats, and the other two parallel with the hatch. It was a tight fit, but doable and with the hatch closed all the way too! Just slide the passenger seat up a couple notches and it'll work peachily.

How do you fit four tires in the hatch of an RX-7 AND close the hatch?
I'm talking stock tires with wheels.
I have ALWAYS had to put one riding shotgun.
For all intensive purposes, a 2+2 with the seats folded down is the same as a car with bins, right?
Can't put them vertical because they hit the roof when you roll them towards the front of the car... So you lay them flat.
One against one of the front seats, then you have to stagger the other one.
If you put a tire on top of the one that's touching the front seats, it will hit the hatch. You have t lean it.

Old [Sch|F]ool
I know someone who manages to put four tires in his FD for track days, and he has the Bose audio system installed, too. One may ride in the front, but I kind of doubt it, since his car is of the type where scratches, scuffs, and such are not tolerated.

i fitted 4 tires with rims on in the hatch, and I had a passenger.
The tires are 215/55/16
I put my seat all the way forward and I had the passenger all the way back because my friend was a fat lazy *** who dont want to sit forward lol.
all i had in the back was a bag of tools with the bins still installd

Depends on if you have the "bins" cover in, and if you bother to have a spare tire in the car. My FB (I know, I know) regularly goes around with four rally tires (equivalent to two 215/65-15, two 185/65-15) in the back. And a floor jack. And two tool bags. And my helmet bag. And my backpack of spare clothing. And I have a rear-mounted battery, too...

If I'm going to a track event, I'll take the flatbed...
*twitch*
Thanks for the heads up.
I had only heard the phrase spoken before.
Can you put them in vertically on the back seat? Flip the front seats forward and put them in through the doors.
BTW, since when did you get into FCs? You've always been a first genner as far as I remember.

You can fit many things into the back of the FC. I had a alum. hood in the back with my seat shoved forward. Although one corner did stick out the back but barely did. I've had a full set of wheels that are 17's from a mustang cobra in the back. The hatchback can hold alot. HATCHBACK FTW!
