Can the FC fit 4 tires in the trunk?

as long as it is not a vert, you can fit 4 wheels and tires, with no problem...
(and actually I have fit 4 wheels and tires in a vert on the rear deck and passengers seat).

If they're not too big then yes. I've managed to fit 4x 225/50/15 and 4x 15x8 into the back of my car (I'm not sure if I had my rear shock tower brace still in at that point). I KNOW that I didn't have to put any tires in the front but I'm a little fuzzy about the wheels (I probably had one or two up front). It was VERY tight fitting them back in (damned tire stores always leave tires overinflated). After the roll bar install I can only fit 2 back there if I want to be able to have anything else back there, 3 might fit, but it'd take up the whole space (the harness bar is the main thing that gets in the way.

I can fit 4 205-50-r15 R compounds on the stock wheels in the back of my GXL... I have to tilt the driver seat a little more upright than normal but it leaves me with a free passenger's seat.
Edit: I could not fit 4 205-55-r15s that were on the stock rims without deflating the tires. I didn't want to lose the use of the passenger's seat and I didn't want to leave the hatch open.... long drive, on a rainy night, to a race the next morning, with the GF...

I "lost" my emissions....
I have fit 4 16x7 wheels and 4 225/50/16 tires unmounted in my car and drove home, with the hatch closed before.
now let it be said i couldnt see anything out of that hatch, and that part wasnt fun.

It can be done, so don't listen to those who say it can't, but it is very dependant on packing skills and tire size. If the tires are tall, then it's tough, because you can't line them up vertically at the front. If they're wide then you can't put as many side by side.

I've traveled to events with my 4 16x8s with WIDE (think closer to 235) 225/50/R16 Azenis in the car. 2 staggered over the bins with 1 leaning over top of them and 1 in the passenger seat leaning on the door armrest. Its TIGHT, but doable, and can't see anything out of the hatch and will probably be killed in an accident.

I fit 4 in my MX-3, and it ha sa much smaller trunk than my 7. As stated, it may be blocking your view a bit, though. The FC has an amazingly large trunk. When I moved my then-GF years ago I fit a dresser, a mini-fridge, a TV, a large lamp, several large totes, and all her clothes in the back, plus some other random crap.
