Thanks for the info Icemark!
I agree with you all the way. I would love to make a replica GTUs but even more than that, after I heard that Mazda had a 20B project I was thinking about making a clone of the GTUs test car. I guess the only bad thing is that there's not alot of documentation about it. From the artist rendering it doesn't seem like he had seen much of the GTUs in person. While looking more closely at the car, I doubt it even has the non-popup headlights I thought it had.

Edit: OMG! OMG! Just as I finished this post I remembered that in a pile of old 2nd gen junk (ads from magazines, articles, road tests, ect....) I have an article about a 3 rotor RX7 made by mazda being tested in the US! I'll try to see if I can go find it this next weekend and post it. I don't know if it was from R&T or what though.
It's pretty interesting. The tester talks about a mustang cobra he beats on the highway. Plus, (drumroll please...) great acceleration in 5th gear!

They should've made an N/A Fd and a single turbo FD. the twins are almost overkill. Lag isn't the enemy, it's cost. If it costed less, you could've made the same power with 1 turbo. I have a question though, if both FD turbos (the 57mm and the 59mm) made 10 pounds o fboost? why did you need the larger one? they make the same ammount of boost and the small one spools quicker? what's the deal? Maybe I need to find an FD expert equivalent to Icemark with FCs. I swear Icemark you are a God amungst 2nd gen owners.

Its not just a twin turbo its a sequential twin turbo. What it means is that in the low RPM the smal turbo kicks in by itself, because small turbos spoll quiker at low RPM. As RPM increases the other bigger turbo starts to spool and comes online, as we know bigger turboes spool up slower but push more air at same Psi. after that its all teamwork beatween the two turbos.

Then end result is power throwout the RPMs..

The twins weren't made to make an insane amount of power, but to be responsive and moderately powerful.

Or that's what was explained to me.

I thought Psi was the same as air delivery. I knew it was sequintial. I just didn't see the need for it to change turbos.

i went and looked at it its in terry ms and it was brilliant white but all faded with black interior and the stickers on the side say gtu not gtus i thought it did night time when i looked at it but it is hard top no ac or ps 4.30 rear end with the wing and all and has 16's, but i bought one that had been repainted black from a junk yard that was running for $200 he was going to crush it and the interior was mint as well and paint looked fresh but the passenger's side fender was caved in and the the back bumper and drivers side rear quarter panel were messed up but hey 200 and tail lights are intact that alone was worth it
