I had one of these on my avenger and to be honest I didnt notice anything. My avenger was heavily moded, but I had a friend with a crx holding a h22 and he had put 3 on there and he said he got a hole sec out of them at the track. I wasnt big into the drag scene but he was excited about a sec. I just took mine off and added a 75 shot of NoS lol.

Methane injection.. Intriguing..

Yeah! This is funny stuff... this thread has me cracking up. Good stuff. Keep it coming.

Oh wait.. the OP was serious? j/k

The only thing I would even bother with trying is some sort of NON-electric assisted turbo... perhaps a small weedeater engine, or maybe a model aircraft engine... hey, there's even a .30cc wankel rotary one made by OS engines. Hehe. You could have a rotary powered by a turbo powered by a rotary....

A project of this nature would be fun to play with, but you must understand that you will probably get no good results out of anything you try and will probably get frustrated and broke in the process. But, I say... GO FOR IT! Post pictures!

E-ram has ones that actually work but $300 for 8hp i dont think so.

also i second the leaf blower thing actualy i think i saw that on a ricer around here.
No need to call me a biatch. You're obviously worthless, and know NOTHING about cars.

Leaf blowers work.... a little bit.

Blower Bolt on Dyno pull

Now just find a place to rig up the gas leaf blower and custom electric start or find a nice large AC power inverter and run a green weed wacker leaf blower. If you remove the horns, a/c condenser, and overflow tank you might have some room to put on.

Forget all this lawn care stuff.

Just fabricate a tube that telescopes out from your intake directly onto the exhaust pipe of the car in front of you while your racing, have it setup to RAM exhaust AIR into your intake, get it? You will find yourself slowly creeping up on their bumper and when the time is right slingshot pass them for the win.

This is the cheapest way your gonna gain power, most innovative and by far the most stylish setup.

Maybe someone has a write up with a diagram on this?

Ok... Ok...The 2JZ swap might be a little more stylish, I just wonder if the fittings would be air tight.

Might as well use this intake blower.

NON ELECTRIC INTAKE FAN! This is where you get all your power from!

peak power is where there will be the most vacuum in the intake manifolds for any and every engine. think about it; peak power means the engine is pumping through the highest CFM of air it possibly can b4 its too highly restricted by the ports, exhaust, intake (which ever is the bottle neck). the higher the CFM the harder it is for the intake system to compensate for it and that in turn shows up as peak vacuum. getting more air requires more sucking. the more sucking the more air is sucked through. thus when the turbro guys say NAs suck they are pretty dead on about that. we suck...HARD. but the turbro guys BLOW big time and b4 boost they suck just like us. haha lol jk guys
if someone feels pressed to correct me then please do but im pretty sure this is the way it is.
