If you get a drier that fittings are too small you can order this drier instead. It has the bracket in the correct place and right fitting sizes. Everco 4119 (Four seasons 33487)

That said, what did you end up paying for it?

So, there were 2 systems each using 2 different compressors. 4 total systems.
The evaporator, TXV and the condenser seem to be the same on both systems. The hoses to and from the compressor were specific to the compressor. The hard pipes from the condenser to the drier were different, the driers were different.
Orielly Auto is the last web site that lists both driers for the S5 and for the S4. They list the with-bracket drier as "Except Japan Built' and the non-bracket drier as "With Factory Air'. I think they have it backwards because the S5 FSM clearly pictures the with-bracket drier.
Rock Auto lists the non-bracket as S5 and the with-bracket as S4.
Autozone no longer lists anything but the non-bracket for S5. They used to list both.
Advance lists the non-bracket for both S4 and S5 with no mention of the with-bracket drier. Also states 'With Factory Air'.
And Amazon lists the non-bracket for S5 and the with-bracket for S4.
I can buy the with-bracket drier locally at a wholesale jobber. I have to use the parts number, cause they can't get it right either.
Furthermore, every FC I have ever had my hands on or peeked under the hood, or picked on at the boneyard had the with-bracket drier, regardless of the compressor type. Granted that number is probably only around 25, but it ranged from 86-91, Turbo and N/A I have never seen the non-bracket drier on a car. I have seen a picture on this board but it was years ago.
How is this for more information?
