A/C condenser fiasco

Ok, just wondering if anyone has ever had a condenser custom made to the original unit? I had hopes and dreams of installing a direct replacement, and after a month or so I found one. Fitting thread were right side but the internal diameter of the high pressure side was too small. Thought I'd have it cut off and have the original unit end welded on, but this new condenser is a piece of crap. Even the mounting brackets I can bend with one finger. Since I wasted so much money at this point I'm committed now and was wondering....

1) Is there a place that custom makes these at a reasonable price?
2) Or, anyone bought a GOOD unit similar and had it modified?

First person I'd ask is jackchild59, he seems to have a grip on all this sissy AC stuff.

The only way to get a direct replacement that needs no mods.is to use OEM/OEM replacement part. There are some OEM replacement parts on EBAY that look kinda shady.

Where did you get the condenser? Is it parallel flow?

I got my condenser from usradiator.com. It suppose to be made by American Condenser, but there's no label other than 'China' in all caps. It is so flimsy I can't see it lasting long. Its just the tube type to, not cross-flow. I see Spectra Premium P/N 7-4200 is for RX7, but you can't find one online. Must be out of production.

I got a couple places I'll try and call tomorrow in FL. One is in Orange Park and one who claims to fabricate units is in Tampa.

Correction: Not usradiators.com, but 'radiators us'. The so called American Condenser p/n seems to be the same as Silla brand, which if the case, is probably the same thing-junk.
