Buying an 88 need advice!!
Hey everybody i need some help..
im buying an 88 Rx7 standard with less than 200,000 on the car
Now this is where you guys come in i would like to know what to look for like signs and sounds of engine wear....... stuff like that.
Also as with all cars some are infamous for having certain parts being particularly weak if you guys could enlighten me..........
Last thing i promise
if i could get some numbers like stock hp and torque, weight, gear ratios and anything else youd like to trow in it will all be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Kris

One of the good ways i learn to check how good the engine is run it normally till it warms up. Then runs it to 7500 RPM. If it smokes in hte process or after you let off, get out now. Also check the coolant bottle to see if there are any oil in there, also check to see if the car starts when it is cold
