Just a thought, On a s4. Can you put the Front and Rear Bumpers w/o any fittiment Issues? Also what about the Lip Spoiler and skirts that the s5 Turbo II have? Will they all Interchang with no problems?

Thanks

Rear bumper = no problem

Front bumper = fenders and bumper may not match very well where they meet.

The design of the rub strip/moulding will be different too.

The side skirts will on on perfectly and the lip spoiler goes on any S5 front end. It will fit on an S4 front if you drill new holes in it. Good luck trying to find this lip. Its the first piece destroyed on the car so they are as rare as hen's teeth used and you can't get them form Mazda anymore.

I actually like the look of the S4 aero package better because it looks more purposeful rather than to update the appearance, but I have the lip on my S5 GXL and it looks nice.

The s4 and s5 molding are different sizes. They won't match up perfectly if you put the bumpers on. As far as putting a S5 bumper and rear bumper on a S4 car, yeah, they bolt right up. I have a friend who did this. The S5 lip spoiler matches the S5 bumper perfectly(of course), and at Seven Stock, I saw a S4 car with a S5 lip spoiler, and it looked good. Good enough that it didn't mismatch terribly or anything. I don't know how difficult it was to attach, because I didn't get to talk to the owner. As far as sideskirts, I'm a little curious myself. I need to put S5 TII sideskirts on a S5 GTU, and I'm wondering if I'll need to fabricate anything. Hope this helps!

Damn Greg, beat me to it! =P But your information about the lip being out of stock is incorrect. You can still order them from a Mazda dealer, at least, in Sacramento you can. Talk to RarestRX, he just got his and probably still has the part number. Peace.

Hey Steve,

Steve is right that the S5 bumper will go on a S4. The friend he's talking about is probably me. The S5 WILL fit but two problems.
- The molding will not match up with your S4 moldings.
- The plastic brake vents behind your stock S4 bumper will be in the way for the S5 bumper. You'll have to take those out.

Other than those, there shouldn't be a problem with the bumpers. S5 side skirts, I don't know. I fabbed and molded my own. The moldings, you'll have to buy S5 ones or you can do what I did and shave them down. They look just as good.

I should have mentioned that the side mouldings would be swapped aswell. I wasn't aware of the Brake Ducts being In the way. Good to know there Is no fitiment Issues with the Front/Rear Bumpers. Also the Lip fits well, didn't know the rarity of It. Will call dealership, I am curious. But what about the Skirts?

See my sig pic below for a demo of a s5 front on a s4 car and the difference in molding, the back is the same way(though not in this pic). I have the molding and rear, just havent changed them yet.

ITs best to get the front bumper support with foglights(if applicable) and brakeducts when doing this swap.

Never noticed the difference In the pic until now. I guess your mouldings , all around, need to be swapped out to match the bumpers. Unless you like that setup.
