I don't think I've said in any threads that they make such great power? x.x
If so, whoops - I meant to only be telling people how GREAT they sound..
And if you mean how I said it makes 28% hp more than stock, that's coming from Mazdatrix, not me :P

28% more power isn't proven. Do you think an e-fan is good for 15HP?And an plain intake for 26HP (K&N). So what is the point you're trying to make? They sound just like the full RB exhaust to me, just a little more hollow . BUT I don't think you should be telling people to buy it if you no truth behind your statements. Sound is only an opinion of whoever.
PM Mazdaspeed7 (from the beefy NA thread) and ask him how he feels about true duals now . You'll be surprised .

Is the RB RoadRace a true Dual System? I have one but I don't thing it is totally seperate. It seems to me that it is collected in the pre-silencer & then split again to two mufflers. I could be wrong. I like mine regardless of the specifics. It seems to be strictly a matter of taste I guess. I was never, ever sorry for buying the full RoadRace setup.

I think he's talking about the true dual one, "road race."
Look at this pic
That's the "road race presilencer." Like he says, goes into presilencer then splits off again into dual. Not sure if presilencer is truly seperated or if its a single silencer that splits again. Would be pretty funny if it collected and then split!

Yes... the one in the picture is the one I have... What would be the difference performance wise? I mean...wouldn't it be desirable to have some sort of scavenging to pull the exhaust gases out faster? Or is this incorrect? Would the increase in volume of the presilencer & the addition of another muffler(if the presilencer was collected) make for less back pressure & more flow? It would seem reasonable to me that it might work better & have a quieter tone. Which mine seems to have. Of course I'm not an expert. I previously had a RB collected header and it was pretty loud, but of course the rest of my previous setup was CRAP. Could a collected pre-silencer be why the setup works well? Somebody set me straight on this please.

I don't know about the road race setup for the FC, but a friend of mine had the full RB package on his GSL-SE and it had two smaller pre-silencers that were slightly offset. I believe the presilence coming from the front rotor started about 3" before the other, to accomodate for the flanges I guess.
