Building high output N/A.

Ok I'm looking for suggestions in case there are better ideas than the one I have. Currently I have a S4 6port block (with all internals) and I'm building a motor to drop into my FB. So far I'm going to go with a generous street port and the basic rebuild. I'm going to use a S4 lower intake manifold along with the 5th and 6th port actuators. I'm going to smooth out and polish the manifold and put in some pineapple sleeves. I'm going to run carb for sure so I'm debating between a weber or a dellorto side draft. I'm thinking of using a GSL-SE distributer or maybe an aftermarket one if its available. So I'm shooting for 220hp (at the crank. I won't be too greedy) on a reliable daily driven N/A motor. The motor is being built from the ground up so I don't want to miss any helpful details. Any suggestions? I'm hoping to have a sub 13 second FB by the end of summer.

if you port it properly, and setup the carb and tune the car right you wont have a problem making over 200 at wheels. the porting makes a diffrence, its not just size, its how you port.

I have faith the porting will be top notch. I just go tto talk the guy into it. He said he's never ported a 6 port before but he ports turbo motors like you wouldn't believe. Personally I see no difference. Would a FC trans bolt right into an FB?

Actually there is a difference in the porting from a turbo application and N/A applications. The timing of the port can make a big difference. The type of intake and exhaust configuration can make a big difference also.
