Buick GN powered FC..... now coilover equipped! Pics inside.
Hey guys,
Here are some pics of the new version of my car. IMO it looks much better than the old one (gold) and has a lot more tips/tricks done to it. I added Coilover suspension with 400lb front springs/250lb rears. KYB AGX 4way adj struts up front and 8way adj shocks out back, caster/camber plates and rear adj camber link. Polyuerathane everything and toe eliminator bushings. The car handlesgreat now. I also put some 245/16 Potenza S-03's out back and 225/16 S-03's up front. They were more than I should've spent but tires are one of the most important things right? I also put on HAWK HP+ pads on the car and they really work! Car should weigh about 2725-2750lbs with a/c and p/s delete.
Here are some pics:

Yo,
Bro, your car looks great. I don't give a sh*t what the rotary zealots will whine about, you have the greatest FC Q-Ship /ever/. Keep it naked in the back, unless you need the downforce from the wing. I liked your car when it was the hoopty gold, because it was even more of a Q-Ship, looking like any other of the many run down S4 FC's out there. Then BAM! See ya! I love it!

Thanks everyone.... the car has more work in it than I care to admit but I love driving it. < 2750lbs and 450ft/lbs of torque propelling you is quite an experience.
CYMFC3S- next bay area meet we'll have to check out each other cars and go for rides in each.
VAUGHNNC- I just polished/buffed/waxed the car so the eggs won't stick. AutoGlym all the way. $16/bottle!
I have always believed in doing the sleeper look. The rims are 16x7 '89-91 T2/GTUs rims and are 17lbs (licensed thru BBS), a wing may appear later... but for now I don't need it or want it. I have a stock T2 spoiler in my garage.
The single 3" downpipe clears pretty well but I did use the "persuader tool" on the firewall just a hair. But then the single 3.5" exhaust underneath really gets tight in some places.
Thanks again guys.... new et's coming soon... and a 10pt cage with 5pt belts also.

Yo,
What was your old time again? Wasn't it like really damn fast? 10-12's? Something silly...
Oh, and how many lb's of boost?

The old version went 11.62@114mph on slicks and 11.76@115mph on Nitto DR's without locking up the Torque convertor (good for .2-.3 less et and 3-4mph more) with home ported heads (my first time and stk valves), stock turbo, and nice intercooler from Spearco, 208/208 duration cam .460" lift cam. 116 octane, 26* race chip, 20-21 psi.
The new version has professionally ported heads with larger s/s valves, 218 duration cam .500+" lift, T&D 1.65 roller rockers, and the stock turbo for now. Hoping for 11.20's@119mph or faster with locking up the torque convertor and more tuning with the stock GN turbo.
K2RD.com coilover kit. The springs were originally yellow... they stayed that color for about 10 minutes once they were in my hands.
