Brown coolent

Okay i did search and found a few things that helped. But i wanted to see if this has happen to anyone. Okay here's the story start my car add coolent light and buzzer went off. Thought it was a joke since i got it flushed like 3 months ago. So killed the car and started it back up...went off again. So pop the hood to find out there is nothing in there. Add some water since i didn't have antifreeze. Notice the coolent was brown....I look every where on this car and i can't find a leak. I replaced all of the coolent lines when i got it flushed 3 months ago. Even the one going to the intake maini. Forgot to add this is an s4 N/A. I think this is a coolent seal going out but i'm not sure...and i'm still learning the ins and outs of a rotary.

Brown means rust, lots of it. Flush it immediately and refill with correct mixture of antifreeze. There are ways to check for compromised coolant seals..search.

+1 for rust. It might take more than one flush to remove the rust itself

Thank you for the info...the main thing I'm trying to see is if this has happen to anybody else. Put fresh coolent in and it slowly burns off 3-4 months later. Also has anyone over heated and not mess up there coolent seals?
