Broken subframe, will solid engine mounts hold to the body shop if not driven?

the cross section (steering area) of the crossmember under the motor is chopped out. If I use my solid motor mounts, do you think that will be enough to hold the car together if its just going on a flatbed to be put on a frame machine?

Seems like it would do the trick so far but the car is still jacked on rails.

Need a body experts advice.

Heres all I got for a pic right now but it shows everything.

Trying to force the control arms back in, they have brand new bushings but I need something for the car to sit on until I can get it to a frame shop.

What I'm wondering is will the motor mounts hold the front end since they are solid just to make it on a flat bed to get on a frame machine.

i wouldnt do that myself, and wouldnt reccomend that you do that either

myself, id weld any piece of steel i can find across the gap to get the car onto a flatbed, then once up there, id jack up the front of the car and set it on blocks for the ride over there

I can't weld. What if I bolt a piece of steel to hold the gap together while the motor is jacked up to minimize flex?

Sure that would work

I just realized your in MA, where in MA maby i could help tommorow?

But yes, bolting some steel to it would deffinetly help. i myself wouldnt feel safe moving the car around with the subframe using the engine to keep its self relativly intact

the studs are warped to bolt up a fresh crossmember, thats the whole issue. a friend of mine says he can realign the stud with a setaline. You think that would work or still have ******* issues?

I'm kind of stumped, I cant just mig it right up, you think drilling whats left of the crossmember and bolting it with some grade 10 bolts and washers should hold good enough?
