Broken clutch pivot ball
After some research I found that people with ACT heavy duty pressure plates tend to have my same exact issue.
Clutch hydraulics all good BUT it doesn't shift.
So, I pulled the tranny today after getting a replacement pivot ball from Mazdatrix.
Snapped old one
And new one installed.
So, I'm broke right now so I'm going to give the clutch another run. I've been drifting on it on a weekly basis for 6 months and it took this long to snap(and it was the original ball on the tranny 20-ish years). It broke on the same day I started to do clutch kicks to initiate. Not sure if that helped the breaking.
If it snaps again, I'm going back to SPEC Stage 2 which kicked *** for 3 years before this clutch.

Well, depressing the clutch hard puts quite a bit of force through the fork. The fork is resting on the ball and pivots around it; thus, the ball feels some force. I would say the harder the pressure, the more the pivot has to withstand.
There is force on one end, force on the other, weight on the pivot! Careful!
