N/A or TII?
N/A is easy to spot. TII you have to remove the TMIC.

I have this same problem..but only occasionally. Maybe 1 out of every 10 times i start the car it does this..for maybe 2-3 seconds. I'll fiddle with the tps more later though...no time now (school sucks). ![Frown](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Btw, if the car is driven with the tps unplugged...what should happen? A little more theory behind why certain things happen the way they do would be appreciated...that way i can form my own conclusions and u know..be like u incredibly smart rx-7 people

Amur_ had a thread recently on exactly what you described.. I believe the new (correct) TPS solved his problem.
I would have thought the car would stall with no TPS signal, but apparently it keeps in ticking. But you get a crappy throttle response when you open it up from idle.
*starts looking for Amur_'s thread..*
