Brake rotor time..........
Its time for brake rotors. I have 160K on the original rear rotors, front ones are warped. I am going to get new rotors to replace all. What do you guys recommand i should get? Stock type, Crossdrilled, Slotted? I want mine to last through 2 sets of brake pads bfeore replacing, and I warp my rotors easily. What should I get? Also what brand? Thanks

For street use Plain or Slotted are best - Cross Drilling tends to weaken the rotors and are prone to CRACKING

just bought crossed drilled for mine. found the best price at http://www.pureperf.com. i got cadium plating and carbon fiber/kevler brake pads. the whole setup ran $250 for an 86 N/A.

powerslot slotted rotors I BELIEVE are Brembo blanks that are then slotted. The slots are freaking TEENY, and don't seem to provide much cooling capacity at all, as brake dust just collects in them (I have 'em on my '92 Civic EX, same price to replace as originals, with AEM pads (dusty pads by the way, (I think)) and they just fill up with brake dust).

www.frozenrotors.com cryogenically treated if you serious about them lasting. These definitely will. I think they're 106 for the front set. and they can also slot or drill them. extra ofcourse. you only really need that up front.
